The Tim Holtz™ Distress™ Crackle Paint™ is fast making its way to the top of my favorites list. So quick and easy to use there are so many great features that I love. This distress crackle paint is a great way to achieve a crackle effect easily. Simply brush on your project and allow todry. No crackle medium and extra steps needed…as it dries it produces a beautiful fine crackle itself. One of my favorite features of this product is the built in brush. Simply unscrew the lid and you’ll find it attached. I love how you can just twist the lid back on and not bother with washing out a brush. The Time Holtz Distress Crackle Paint is available in 24 colors that coordinate perfectly with the Ranger Distress Ink and Distress Embossing Powder Lines. You can vary the look of the Distress Crackle Paint depending on the thickness of your application. If you’ve never tried it before…now is the perfect time. At Cornish Heritage Farms, Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint is our product spotlight and on sale for the next two weeks.

Things to paint with Tim Holtz Distress Crackle Paint…
- Wood – brush it over wood altered projects for a great crackled surface finish
- Chipboard
- cardstock
- paper mache
- layer over other layers of acrylic paint
- primed canvas

Hints…-Store jars upright and tightly sealed
-Shake Well before using
-If your paint becomes too thick add minute amounts of water . Do not add water unless needed.
-Don’t be afraid to add elements on top of your paint. This paint may be stamped on when dry.
-The best way to dry your paint is to allow it to dry on its own.
-The thicker you apply your paint…the larger the cracks in your finished product.
-If you want to apply to unfinished wood or unprimed canvas…it is best to prime with gesso or acrylic paint first to give the paint something to hang on to.

Here’s a few samples of what you can do with the Distress Crackle Paint…
