One of the favorite and most respected inks in the industry is the Ranger Adirondack ink line. At Cornish Heritage Farms, the Ranger Adirondack ink pads and reinkers are our product spotlight for the next two weeks. A set of 48 beautiful shades, these inks are easy to use and coordinate extremely well with each other. This set consists of 24 Earthtones, 12 pastel Lights and 12 vibrant Brights. Each pad is raised for ease of inking your stamp, direct to paper methods or brayering. The Adirondack inks are acid free, non-toxic and fade resist making them an ideal choice. Coordinating with the ink pads, reinkers are available making your ink pads last for years. These reinkers are fabulous for watercoloring with and produce fabulous results.
The Adirondack Pitch Black and Espresso ink pads are also favorites among Copic marker users. This ink provides an extremely clean impression of detailed image stamps and once dry...does not run or bleed with using Copic markers and the Copic Blender Pen. When applying this ink to detailed image stamps such as our Thomas Kinkade, Sandra Kuck and Saturday Evening Post lines, the best way to ensure even covered is to ink the surface with your brayer. Simply roll the brayer over the ink pad and then roll on your rubber surface before stamping.
Ranger also has a great line of accompanying products that color coordinate with these inks. Paint Dabbers, embossing powders, pigments ink pads and pens all add flexibility to coordinating your projects.
If you've been thinking of trying out these great inks or adding to your collection....now is a great time as the Adirondack ink pads and reinkers are on sale for the next two weeks.

Hi Julia -
I have been really curious about these ink pads - I only hear great things about them. Is the consistency of the ink thicker/opaque like SU craft ink or like the Versa Magic inks or are they like dye ink, like the SU regular pads. Just curious about that.
Like I said I have been so curious about them - they seem to be an ingredient in all of these awesome cards I see - maybe they will help my improve my stamping too! LOL. Anyway, I must say this sale is good timing for me...
Thanks. _________________ ~Maria

Hi Maria, I'm sure Julia will be along with more expertise than I have but I thought I'd give you my take on these I've I've only recently started using them.
It's potentially just a tiny bit confusing because Adirondack have *just* launched a pigment ink range (opaque) so you'll start to see those popping up in people's work but at the moment the stuff you're seeing is almost certainly their dye-based ink.
I really like these inks - the colours are vibrant and true and they give excellent coverage. You can use them pretty much whatever colouring tools you're going to use if you're colouring an image in too - they don't run or smear. They stay true with water too so you can even use the inks themselves as watercolours without getting any nasty surprises.
If you check out this week's challenge thread it's for Adirondack inks and lots of the DT girls played along so you can link through to everyone's blog to see lots of different ways to use these inks. The thread is here.
HTH, have fun! _________________ Joanne x

I'm guessing I was fast asleep when you posted! I'm five hours ahead of EST so if you posted say around 9pm local time it was two in the morning for me
Let us know how you get on with the inks if you try them. I think Espresso is a 'must have' (it's great for stamping your image if you're going to colour in as it's a deep colour but less harsh than black) and then the rest is probably down to personal preference. _________________ Joanne x
