The first thing you need to do is set up an account on the Forums if you do not already have one. Please note that the CHF Store & Forums are two different sites so just because you are signed up on our store does not allow you automatic access to the Forum system & vice versa.

To sign up on the forums simply go to the Forums Home Page - http://forums.cornishheritagefarms.com/ and click on the 'Register' link at the top middle/right of the screen. Select a user name and enter all of the details required. You will then receive an email that will contain a link that you will have to click on. Once this is done then you can click on the Forums or Gallery link you will see on our home page. There you will have to log in with your new user name and password.

Once you have logged in you can click on the gallery link that you wish to upload to. Once there click on the 'Upload Photos' link on the top right of the screen & then you will be able to send your photo to our site.

The photos that you upload must be in Jpeg format & 72 dpi. You also want to make sure that they are reasonable dimensions. Sending a photo that is 27" x 30" is not needed! Most pics look great at 4" x 5" or something similar.

Not sure how to adjust the size of your pictures? When you take the photos off of your camera & store them on your computer you then need a program to open them up in. Paint Shop is VERY popular but there are others. In Paint Shop you just do Shift S & up will pop the details. Change your DPI to 72, click on the option Smart Size & check the size of the picture to make sure it is not too small or too large. Then click OK & save as a Jpeg.

There have been a couple of questions about moving photos or changing descriptions too so once you have Liz's instructions under your belt, here's what to do if you want to change anything after your photo is uploaded...

Make sure you're logged in to the gallery/forum.

Click on "My photos" right at the top left of the gallery screen and you'll see thumbnails of all the photos you have uploaded. Click on the one you want to change.

Just under the photo description area you'll see a row of little icons. Click on the one that looks like a pencil - that's the edit button. Now you can change whatever you need to change - add something to the description, choose a different gallery category for the photo, even change the photo if you managed to take a better shot with a change of lighting conditions or something.
