I loved this challenge! I decided to do a one sheet wonder using all the same stamps but slightly change up the colors. I guess that would be two half sheet wonders! :-) I wanted to see how completely different the cards would feel with just an ink change! It's so cool! Stamps: Kim Hughes Collage Elements (adore this set!), Houndstooth backgrounder, MLM Mothers Day Centers, Stampology Ticketed Ink: SU Pixie Pink, VersaMagic Pixie Dust & Sea Breeze, Dew Drop Brilliance Pearlescent Beige, Memento Rich Cocoa and Papertrey Ink Summer Sunrise Embellishments: Martha Stewart Glitter, MS Flower Punches, assorted buttons, ribbons, felt, chipboard and brads. The bird was drawn freehand by me. Thanks for looking! Hope you enjoyed my cards!

12 comments Cheri Sun, 02 Aug 2009 14:15:13 -0600 One Sheet Wonder in Blue and Pink http://forums.cornishheritagefarms.com/pp/showphoto.php?photo=21451

by: Cheri

Description: Oh what fun this has been!!!! I made the wainscotting on the nursery wall by scoring the paper with my scoring blade and then shadowing it with a Prismacolor 10% gray marker. The wall was "painted" by sponging pink Versamagic Pixie Dust. The wallpaper border was stamped and then colored with Prismacolor & Copic markers. Of course, the butterflies needed some Stickles to fancy them up! The wall hanging was made using Spellbinders Nestabilities and DMC floss. The stuffed animals were colored with Prismacolor markers and then the sheep was fuzzied up with Fun Flock. Thanks for looking! As I have baby boys, it was fun to make a nursery for a little girl! Pink and purple overload! :-)

15 comments Cheri Fri, 24 Jul 2009 13:30:42 -0600 Baby's Nursery http://forums.cornishheritagefarms.com/pp/showphoto.php?photo=21134

by: Cheri

Description: Here's the nursery all ready. . . stuffed animals are waiting for that baby to come home! :-) All stamps are from Kim Hughe's Baby Love set. Well, this was my 3rd take on a resist card! I've never done this technique before!! I used the Paisley Pattern Scrapblock with clear embossing powder. After I rubbed over it with Stampin' Up's Real Red ink, I thought it looked way too bright, so I sponged on some Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink. Much better! The star was stamped with the Aged Sheet Music Scrapblock and then cut out freehand and distressed with Vintage Photo Distress Ink. The sentiment is from Kim Hughe's America the Beautiful set. I finished it off with a couple of brads, buttons, a bit of ribbon and twine and some red rhinestones. Now I think it looks so cute with my 4th of July decor up on my mantle that it will probably never be sent to anyone! :-)

8 comments Cheri Sun, 19 Jul 2009 22:31:22 -0600 Resist Challenge http://forums.cornishheritagefarms.com/pp/showphoto.php?photo=21028

by: Cheri

Description: Hi all! This primitive sheep just fit that bill! :-) The dp is Basic Grey Lime Rickey; the sentiment is from Mona Lisa Moments Motivational Centers; button is from Papertrey Ink; tag is a Spellbinders die. Oh, and if the sheep isn't crazy enough. . . a bit of Stickles blings him up!! :-)

20 comments Cheri Thu, 09 Jul 2009 12:59:29 -0600 Crazy Primitive Sheep http://forums.cornishheritagefarms.com/pp/showphoto.php?photo=20759

by: Cheri

Description: When I was dreaming up this card, I wanted to use a CHF set/image that doesn't seem the most obvious to paper piece.
