Description: I found some little composition books at the office supply store. I thought it would be nice to have a little notebook for lists and plans to get ready for christmas. I used Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses patterned papers and the Calendar Year Scrapblock, and Mod Podge for an adhesive and a sealer. Description: Last time my dad came to visit, he brought me some epoxy repair putty, suggesting it might be good for fixing heavy embellishments onto cards. I decided to go one better and turn it into embellishments! The flower centers are all repair putty and the big one has little nails for "stamens", just for good measure! Description: I seem to be obsessed with sewing on cards and everything I make seems to be feminine at the moment so I thought I'd challenge myself to make a masculine card and leave the sewing machine under wraps! The aluminum tape I used for the metal strip is the stuff you can pick up cheaply at a hardware store for things like temporary exhaust repairs etc (mine actually came from my local Pound shop so check your dollar stores for something similar). I gave it a corroded look just by swiping black acrylic paint over and then wiping off with a kitchen towel when almost dry. The washers are between the clear card sheet and the base to give the truck panel the appearance of floating above the card.
